As much as I seriously love my new unit, and the people in it... being in the first room of the hallway SUCKS.
I get ALL the noise from the Kitchen AND the family room. My roommates never ever turn off the TV. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't exploded. Any time I turn it off its literally back on in 20 mins or less.
THIS IS WHY I CAN NEVER SLEEP.

Yikes! All you need is an ice machine in the hallway and you can truly go insane....
Earplugs, fan for white noise, any soft distracting sound.....
