CATCH-UP!

It's amazing how times flies when you're happy and have friends! *huge smile*

So, I left off on wednesday when I went shopping with Becky and Sophie. Wednesday night I started packing up my room for my move to my new dorm, took a shower, organized things etc.

Yesterday morning (Thursday morning) at 10 am was the scheduled time for the big three way move. and you WONT BELIEVE what happened...

Yeah, how'd you guess?! It was pouring rain. Obviously.

I live in a perpetual state of storm-dom. (Just kidding... its winter it's supposed to rain. I just think its ironic because someone told me it never rains here)

Needless to say all my clothes and belongings got pretty soaked as I dashed form building to building moving my belongings (its amazing how I came here with two suitcases yet I have TONS of crap)

I was going to take pictures to show you my move and my new building but all the buildings look the same and I figured it was futile. However, I will post pictures of my room because I re-arranged it and its way better this way! Way more space.

My roommates are awesome. Very helpful and welcoming and outgoing. Much more friendly environment. Also they have cable and a nice tv! Woo hoo goodbye boredom! Its four girls and one guy (i think) because everyone is always over and everyone else's dorm its hard to tell who lives where sometimes.

After I got all settled and unpacked, there was a burger night at the Rec Room of our dorm complex so we all went and had free dinner. After that we all went bowling (girls vs. boys) and it was so fun!

We got home around 10 and at that point I just relaxed, talked to Ryan before he went to work, and drifted off to sleep while listening to my Family Law lecture.

I was awoken by Krystal and Greg for a Facetime date (I was so happy to see them!) We chatted before greg had to go off to work, and then I drifted back to sleep after that.

I was so happy with my day on thursday becuase I got soooo much done!
-moved
-organized my room
-did all my laundry
-changed my classes
-printed readings for my classes (harder than it sounds!)
-read for my classes
-wrote in my journal
-emailed my teacher
-facetimed Krystal and Greg

It was a productive and fun day!

Today I slept in, video chatted with Ryan, and then Sophie and Emily came and got me to take me to the beach! We went to the beach for a few hours, then we went shopping at the mall to get groceries and eat dinner. We were able to sit and have girl time/girl talk and it was really fun!

Now I am relaxing before we go out tonight for girls night! (With the exception of Matt who gets to come since we want Sophie there and she heads back to England on Wednesday :(
