We decided to stay in Interlaken Switzerland for two more days cause we love it here!!!
Two days ago we took a super wicked mountain bike ride. We rode along a river uphill the whole way, to another town over where we were able to watch some base jumpers do their thing. Super cool. The ride back was all downhill and about four times shorter than the way there haha :) after that we went to a local pub and had some Swiss beer and cider, met some locals and talked for a few hours before retiring to the hostel, which is an amazing hostel by the way.
The next day (yesterday) we went to a local lake with two other guys in our hostel. One was from Sac and the other was from SLO. what are the chances of that?! So we took a bus to the lake and relaxed, ate lunch and the boys jumped in the lake. Too cold for me!
Next at 4 we were picked up to go bungee jumping. And not just regular bungee jumping. You take a gondola up a mountain, get to a lake, take another gondola to the middle of the lake (450 feet above the water) And jump out of the gondola above the lake. CRAZY!!! But I did it! Eric had no problem but I was super nervous! I didn't jump out of the gondola as enthusiastically as he did but I did do it! Craziest thing I've ever done. Luckily, Eric has a GoPro video camera and I strapped it to my hand as I jumped and recorded the whole thing! So I'll post that soon.
We got home around 9 and ate and crashed we were so tired.
We were supposed to leave Swiss land today and head to Milan, but we decided to cut out Milan and stay here for two more days cause its so amazing here and we love it! We checked into our tent village today which I was super skeptical of... But what do you know I LOVE IT HERE! It's open, outdoorsy, has a pool and hot tub, BBQ, and great music always playing. The people here are also so incredibly nice. Not just here, but everywhere in Switzerland. How could you be anything but happy with the amazing scenery here?!
So today we walked around town a bit and decided to go Canyoning for our last day tomorrow. What's that you ask?? Well you drive to the top of a river-mountain area and slide down natural water slides, jump into little natural pools, slide down rapids, and carribean down cliffs. I can't wait!!! It's going to be so amazingly fun. We just relaxed today, were going to update our blogs, then head to bed cause we leave at 730 am to go canyoning for 7 hours!! :) I love you all. Pics and videos to come!

Kayla you are so boring!
I know, I know..... my blog doesnt have cool pictures or video like Erics but I will update it eventually! We are having too much fun to sit around the hostel and upload pictures and videos. Currently I am having a hard enough time trying to type on this french keyboard! oui!
Today we took a three hour long bike tour around Paris. It was so incredible! I am so glad we did it. We got to see all the major statues, churches, historical stuff etc. Got some great pictures of the Eiffel Tower...and everything else too. Eric and I have made so many funny videos I cant wait to share them with you guys. Eric and I had some great talks today on everything from religion and God, dating, pigs, the past, the future, dogs, nazi Germany, politics, people, regrets, drama, dehydration, guillotines, obama, poop, ethnic groups, war, peace, and a lot of laughter. I am very lucky to be able to spend all this time with him, listen to his wisdom and advice, and just enjoy his company. I love my brother :)
Love you all back home too! One week down, two more to go!

What I've learned...
1. Amsterdam is MAN RULED. There are very little women in Amsterdam. Men EVERYWHERE. Sadly, not attractive men. Unless you are dancing in a window... you are not a girl in Amsterdam.
2. You have to pay to go to the bathroom... EVERYWHERE. I hate it. I try not to drink so I dont have to go to the bathroom! Most of them are pretty sketchy bethrooms too. Men, on the other hand, just get to pee on the street in these outside urinal things.
3. If you dont ride a bike... youre not cool. NO ONE drives cars. Everyone just walks or takes the tram everywhere.
I like how social it is here though. Everyone is really laid back and everyone just walks around and socializes. I like the sense of family and community. Its cool, you dont see that in America.
Today we woke up ate breakfast, then napped til 230. It felt really good to catch up on sleep. Then we went to the red light district and saw all the crazy stuff there. Naked women dancing in windows..etc. Amsterdam is like the Vegas of Europe. We got back to the hosel around 12:30. Now i am going to bed! My feet are blistered from all this walking!
Pictures and video to come :)
